Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Wedding Planner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of wedding events, ensuring that each couple's vision is brought to life. You will work closely with clients to understand their preferences and provide exceptional service throughout the planning process. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for creating memorable experiences. There are many parts to this job. You will be working in the store learning how to design, delivering daily orders, taking daily orders, watering plants, cleaning.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to determine their wedding vision, budget, and preferences.
- Research and recommend venues, vendors, and services that align with client expectations.
- Coordinate logistics including timelines, seating arrangements, and vendor contracts.
- Manage on-site event execution to ensure everything runs smoothly on the wedding day.
- Provide guidance on floral design, and other aesthetic elements to enhance the event.
- Maintain clear communication with clients and vendors throughout the planning process.
- Handle any issues that arise during the planning or execution phases with professionalism.
- Assist in marketing efforts through e-commerce platforms and social media to promote services.
- Provide excellent customer service to our daily customers, not just weddings
- Clean and organize the store
- Design corsages, boutioneers and garland
- Answer phones
- Make daily deliveries
Experience
- Proven experience in event planning or wedding coordination is preferred.
- Familiarity with floral design is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Proficiency in retail sales concepts including merchandising, retail math, cashiering, and cash handling.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills
