Pay Grade: 4 $13.87-19.67
Primary Purpose
Assist in receiving, storing, issuing and delivering of supplies, maintaining inventory control and doing required record keeping.
Qualification Guidelines
Education/Certification
High School diploma or GED
Valid Texas driver's license (Class B-CDL)
Experience
Experience with deliveries and inventory control procedures
Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Ability to read supply requisitions and invoices and perform basic arithmetic
Ability to operate light machinery and mechanical equipment
Ability to operate light truck
Ability to operate computer

Mental/Physical/Environmental Demands
Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment including personal computer and peripherals; ladder; forklift; hydraulic lift-or pallet jack; dolly; handcart; box knife; small hand tools, and delivery vehicles
Posture: Continual walking; standing; climbing/bending/stooping/kneeling, pushing/pulling, and twisting
Motion: Repetitive hand motions including keyboarding and use of mouse; reaching
Lifting: Continuous heavy lifting; carrying

Major Responsibilities and Duties
- Receives products and properly stores them.
- Moves inventory to various locations by operating mechanical equipment, including forklift, hydraulic lift, and handcart.
- Pulls frozen and dry orders. Keeps product properly rotated.
- Delivers products to schools-gets authorized signature for supplies requested.
- Straighten freezer, remove built up ice, report and discard damaged product.
- Catering duties as assigned.
- Maintains inventory records-takes physical count periodically.
- Loads and unloads delivery truck.
- Detect needed repairs on delivery vehicles and equipment and reports to proper Supervisor.
- Follow safety procedures to perform job duties.
- Maintains sanitary conditions in warehouse and coolers.
- Perform other duties as assigned
