Primary Purpose
Under general supervision, assist journeyman carpenter in construction, alteration, repair, and installation of fixtures, buildings, and structures throughout the district. Maintain district structures and furniture in attractive and safe condition
Qualification Guidelines
Education/Certifications
High School diploma or GED Valid Texas driver's license.
Experience
Prior experience as an apprentice carpenter is desirable
Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Physically fit with good manual dexterity, eye-hand coordination and good sense of balance.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Working knowledge of hand tools, power tools and safety equipment.
Good human relation skills and the ability to work well with others
