Licensed Cosmetologist

Job Summary
Victoria Edward Spa is seeking a talented and passionate Cosmetologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various beauty techniques, including hair styling,hair cutting, coloring, makeup application and men's hair cutting and shaving. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to provide exceptional customer service while ensuring a welcoming and sanitary environment for clients.

Duties

• Provide a range of beauty services, including hair cutting, coloring, styling, and Mens cutting and shaving.
• Consult with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate services or products.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, workstations, and salon areas in compliance with health regulations.
• Demonstrate knowledge of color theory to achieve desired hair color outcomes.
• Assist in retail sales by utilizing retail math to manage inventory and promote products effectively.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay updated on industry trends and techniques.
• Support store management by contributing to a positive team environment and assisting with daily operations.

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology license as required by state regulations.
• Proficiency in hair styling techniques, makeup application, hair extensions, men's hair cutting.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with clients and understand their needs.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices in a salon setting.
• A passion for the beauty industry and a commitment to providing high-quality service.
• Previous experience in a salon or spa setting is preferred but not required.
