- Help patients with mobility and physical exercises as directed by nursing staff.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and common areas.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members regarding patient needs and changes in condition.
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Nursing Assistant training program preferred.
- Valid Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Empathy and patience when dealing with patients' needs.
- Ability to lift and move patients safely, adhering to proper techniques.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology is a plus.
