Maintenance Technician / Plant Maintenance Associate
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our growing dry cleaning operation. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, troubleshooting equipment, and handling a variety of maintenance tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on plant equipment and machinery.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, steam, and compressor systems.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues as they arise.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify potential problems before they become major repairs.
- Assist with general facility maintenance and special projects.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Respond to unexpected equipment breakdowns and operational issues.
Qualifications
- Experience with HVAC systems and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of steam systems, boilers, and related equipment preferred.
- Experience working with air compressors and industrial machinery.
- Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge required; advanced experience is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing needs throughout the day.
- Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, dry cleaning, or production environment is preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
