We are looking for a dependable, motivated, and hands-on Landscape Operations Lead to help oversee daily field operations, maintain quality standards, and support continued company growth.
This is not a desk-only position. We are looking for someone willing to lead by example and work directly with the crew in the field when needed.
Position Overview
The Landscape Operations Lead will assist with managing daily operations, coordinating crews, ensuring quality control, maintaining schedules, and supporting equipment oversight across multiple commercial properties and athletic field sites.
The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, safety-conscious, and capable of helping maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support landscape maintenance crews in the field
- Coordinate daily routes, schedules, and job site execution
- Assist with commercial mowing operations and athletic field maintenance
- Perform quality control inspections at job sites
- Communicate with management regarding production, staffing, and site conditions
- Assist with training crew members on proper procedures and safety standards
- Monitor equipment condition and report maintenance needs
- Ensure crews maintain professional appearance and conduct on-site
- Help maintain productivity, efficiency, and completion timelines
- Operate commercial landscape equipment when needed
Qualifications
- Experience in commercial landscaping or grounds maintenance preferred
- Leadership or crew management experience strongly preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to operate commercial mowing equipment and landscape tools
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical labor as needed
