Job Description
Vic’s Custom Paint & Body is seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on collision repair experience to join our team.
We are looking for a skilled, dependable technician who can independently perform quality body repairs, replace damaged panels, operate frame machines, and complete body filler work with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
- Body Panel Replacement: Remove, repair, and replace damaged doors, fenders, quarter panels, hoods, bumpers, and other vehicle components.
- Frame Machine Operation: Set up vehicles, measure structural damage, and perform frame pulls and structural alignment.
- Body Filler Work: Properly apply, shape, and sand body filler to achieve smooth, professional finishes.
- Collision Repair: Diagnose damage and restore vehicles to manufacturer repair specifications.
- Welding & Metalwork: Perform cutting, welding, and metal repairs as needed.
- Panel Alignment: Ensure proper body lines, gaps, and fitment.
- Quality Control: Complete repairs accurately and efficiently while maintaining high workmanship standards.
- Workplace Safety: Follow shop safety procedures and manufacturer repair guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 4 years of professional auto body repair experience (REQUIRED)
- Experience operating frame machines and performing structural repairs
- Proficiency in removing and replacing vehicle body panels
- Strong experience applying and finishing body filler (Bondo)
- Ability to perform collision repairs independently
- Knowledge of welding, metal repair, and panel alignment
- Ability to use automotive repair tools and equipment safely
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to meet production deadlines
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 8-hour day shifts
- 40 hours per week
- No weekends
