Job Description
The main responsibility of the Associate (Strategic) FAE position is to proactively support Vicor power solutions into various market opportunities with a primary focus in Data Center and AI applications. This involves providing additional technical support to strategic FAEs that are involved in pre- and post- Sales customer engagements.
Job Responsibilities
Lab work
The candidate must have a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
Minimum of upto 5 years related experience in either analog/power supply design or analog based applications engineering
Base Level Electronics Technician skills
Excellent understanding of analog design
Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
Experience in designing and or testing VR solutions for CPUs, GPUs, and or ASICs is highly desirable.

Compensation Data
Salary Range $75,000 - 90,000 plus a 20% cost of living adjustment
Please note: This range is based on our current market driven pay structures. Individual salaries are determined based upon a variety of factors including but not limited to, a candidates overall qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience as well as company internal equity.

Job Responsibilities
Lab work
- Experienced in operating test equipment necessary in evaluating and debugging power supply products (ie. PSUs, DMM, Oscilloscopes, Frequency Generators, Network Analyzers,…)
- Experienced in soldering through hole and SMD components
- Experienced in data collection, analysis, and report writing
- Experienced in using schematic capture tools (ie. Allegro, Altim,..)
- Experienced in using simulation software (ie. Spice, LTspice, Simplis, Sigrity,…)
