Duties
- Perform comprehensive floor scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and polishing to restore and maintain high-quality floor finishes.
- Handle cleaning tasks across various surfaces including tile, vinyl, hardwood, and carpeted floors using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Safely operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers, polishers, extractors, and carpet cleaners to achieve optimal results.
- Manage the application of floor care chemicals responsibly, ensuring proper handling and environmental safety standards are met.
- Conduct manual handling of heavy cleaning equipment and supplies while adhering to safety protocols to prevent injury.
- Execute detailed custodial tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and spot cleaning to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Support environmental services initiatives by maintaining a clean and safe workspace for staff and visitors alike.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services with a focus on floor maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of floor cleaning chemicals, their proper use, and safety procedures.

- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling bulky equipment or moving furniture during cleaning operations.
