Duties
- Decorate cakes with precision, creativity, and adherence to recipes and customer specifications
- Prepare a variety of baked dessert And cakes.
- Package baked products efficiently while maintaining cleanliness and organization in the workspace
- Assist customers with product selection, flavor or decorating options, and provide friendly service
- Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, knives, and decorating tools safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean workspace by following food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper storage procedures
- Support food production by measuring ingredients accurately using basic math skills and following established recipes
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cake decorating, pastry preparation, or bakery operations within the food industry or restaurant environment
- Strong knowledge of food handling safety standards and food safety management practices
- Skilled in operating kitchen equipment including mixers, ovens, knives, and other baking tools
- Ability to perform high-volume production while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Basic math skills for recipe measurements and inventory management
- Experience with catering or restaurant settings is a plus but not required
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a focus on cleanliness and safety
