Qualifications
VNE, LLC is looking for a Secret Cleared Intelligence Specialist II
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or completion of formal Military/DOD intelligence training.
Experience:
- Seven (7) years with BS or 11 years with military/DOD training of related experience within one or more intelligence areas pertaining to, but not limited to, counterterrorism, infrastructure, cybersecurity, counterdrug, travel, science, and fluency in/active usage of languages used in the analytic intelligence and counterintelligence process, border security, and all phases of the intelligence cycle, such as production and dissemination.
- Secret level Clearance required.
Job Description:
VNE is seeking an Intelligence Specialist II to help provide program management, systems engineering, and logistics support services to the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic.
The Intelligence Specialist II provides technical expertise and support in one or more of the following areas:
- Lend expertise to support an integrated set of services including Program Management, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Integrated Logistics Support, and Equipment and Material Support.
- Work with the NIWC Atlantic Project Managers in supporting the needs of the program at the sponsor level.
- Coordinate meetings, develop agenda items, attend high-level meetings, generate minutes, and track action items.
Essential Duties of the Job:
- Ability to communicate task requirement information to client in a clear and concise manner.
- Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as lead and participate in meetings and working groups.
- Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard.
- Must be able to attend work each day, during scheduled hours, unless on travel or approved time off.
- Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- While performing duties of job, employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
- Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- May be exposed to chemicals related to office equipment.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate (i.e. general office environment).
