Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dunnage Sorter to join our dock team in New Troy, MI. The Dunnage Sorter will be responsible for sorting, organizing, and managing dunnage materials to ensure efficient dock operations and maintain a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort and organize dunnage materials according to type and condition.
• Inspect dunnage for damage and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Load and unload dunnage from trucks and storage areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the dock area.
• Assist with inventory tracking and documentation of dunnage materials.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies while performing duties.
• Collaborate with dock team members to ensure smooth workflow.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in warehouse, dock, or material handling roles is a plus.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

This position is primarily based on the dock and may involve exposure to outdoor weather conditions. The role requires physical activity including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
