Vicious Biscuit is seeking skilled, and positive Back of House Kitchen Staff to join our team! The ideal candidate will have experience working in a restaurant setting and be passionate about food preparation and presentation. Most importantly, the ideal candidate has a great attitude and is craving a positive and uplifting work environment.
*Responsibilities*
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace at all times
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Monitor food stock and place orders when there are shortages
*Qualifications*
- A positive attitude and ability to maintain our uplifting store culture!
- Proven experience as a Line Cook in a restaurant or similar environment is a plus
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Familiarity with industry best practices for food safety and sanitation
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with excellent communication skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
