The Assistant Spa Director supports the Spa Director in the daily operation of the spa, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and achievement of financial goals. This leadership position assists in overseeing spa operations, team performance, revenue generation, guest satisfaction, and compliance with company standards. The Assistant Spa Director plays a key role in cultivating a luxury wellness environment while supporting recruitment, training, and development of the spa team.

- Assist in recruiting, onboarding, training, and mentoring spa colleagues.
- Foster a culture of luxury hospitality, wellness, professionalism, and accountability.
- Support performance management, coaching, and development initiatives.
- Lead daily line-ups, departmental meetings, and ongoing service training.
- Act as Manager on Duty for spa operations in the absence of the Spa Director
- Ensure delivery of exceptional and personalized guest experiences.
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Monitor guest satisfaction scores and implement service improvements.
- Maintain luxury service standards across all treatment and wellness areas.
- Build relationships with hotel guests, members, and local clientele.
- Oversee daily spa operations including reception, reservations, retail, treatment areas, locker facilities, and wellness amenities.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and licensing requirements.
- Manage scheduling to maximize therapist utilization and guest availability.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate ordering of retail and professional products.
- Support implementation and optimization of spa management systems and operating procedures.
- Assist in achieving revenue, profitability, and productivity goals.
- Monitor daily revenue reports, labor costs, treatment productivity, and retail performance.
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.

- Minimum 3–5 years of spa leadership experience in a luxury hotel, resort, or destination spa environment.
- Experience supervising therapists, spa coordinators, and guest service teams.
- Strong knowledge of spa operations, wellness trends, treatment offerings, and retail programs.
- Proven ability to drive revenue while maintaining luxury service standards.
- Experience with spa management and reservation systems preferred.
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and labor management.
