Job Summary: The Director of Operations oversees the daily operations, regulatory compliance, and performance of Viceroy Home Health. This leadership role is responsible for managing interdisciplinary teams, optimizing processes, ensuring quality outcomes, and fostering a positive culture aligned with the company’s mission. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong home-health experience who thrives in a fast-paced, people-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction for all operational aspects of the home health agency.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local regulations.
- Oversee caregiving and administrative staff, promoting teamwork, accountability, and high performance.
- Monitor and improve operational workflows, productivity, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with Nurse Manager to uphold exceptional patient care and quality outcomes.
- Manage budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation.
- Gather KPI and analyze operational data and metrics to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Lead initiatives to support growth, patient satisfaction, and organizational excellence.
- Implement policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Serve as liaison with referral sources, community partners, and regulatory agencies.
- Support onboarding, training, and professional development of staff.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of emergency preparedness plans.
- Address and resolve operational issues and challenges in a timely and effective manner.
- Foster employee engagements and promote a positive culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business, or related field.
- 3–5 years of leadership experience in home health, hospice, or related post-acute healthcare.
- Strong knowledge of Medicaid / Medicare Conditions of Participation and home health regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage operations, and achieve performance goals.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
