Shifts:
Variable Flexibility Must be available Friday-Sunday
About Us
Vice Tea is more than a café — we’re a movement. We serve vibrant loaded teas with customizable caffeine levels, bold flavors, and options for every lifestyle.
The Role
We’re looking for a friendly, upbeat, detail-loving team member to craft high-quality loaded teas, bringing the energy to our pop-up and events tables, and helping invite people to a shop can’t wait to come back to.
What You’ll Do
- Train in store
- Craft and serve loaded teas and specialty drinks to Vice Tea standards
- Keep the tabel clean, fresh, and food-safe at all times
- Bring amazing energy to every guest — greet, chat, guide, and hype their drink
- Handle payments, and keep transactions smooth
- Restock and keep an eye on inventory and freshness
- Help with basic food prep as needed
- Open and close events like a pro, including preparation, transport, set-up, and take-down of tables, tents, and equipment.
- Jump in on promotions, social moments, and local marketing efforts
- Follow company standards and help keep the vibe on point
- Assist with occasional Tea Drops to local businesses, gyms, organizations, and community partners
- Offer samples and explain our drinks, caffeine levels, and add-ins
- Participate in event marketing, promotions, photos, and social content
- Hand out promotional materials and encourage social follows, reviews, or other event promotions
- Be willing to sub-in shop on occasion for coverage
What We’re Looking For
- Flexible availability
- Ability to work as a team, and independently
- Friendly, confident, and outgoing personality
- Dependable and punctual
- Strong communication skills
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Comfortable approaching and engaging with the public
- Comfortable working independently when needed
- Ability to learn and enthusiastically talk about Vice Tea products
- Reliable transportation to local events and Tea Drops
- Ability to assist with basic event setup, supplies, and breakdown
- Great multitasker who stays cool under pressure
- Friendly, confident, and professional
- Solid math skills for handling payments
- Knows food safety and cleanliness matters
- Sales-minded — you’re not afraid to suggest favorites
- Reliable, positive, and a true team player
Availability
Applicants should have good availability Friday through Sunday.
This is an intermittent, as-needed position. Hours will vary based on our event and promotional calendar, and some weeks may have no scheduled hours.
Advance notice will be provided whenever possible.
Is This You?
You might LOVE this role if...
- You’re naturally outgoing and don't mind approaching someone you’ve never met and saying, “Have you tried Vice Tea?”
- You’re comfortable in crowds, and in the spotlight.
- You love being the person who gets other people excited about something.
- You’d rather be out at an event meeting people than sitting behind a desk.
- You’re dependable — if you commit to an event, we can count on you to be there.
- You’re comfortable being photographed or appearing in occasional social media content while representing the brand.
- You understand that working a promotional event means being engaged and proactive, not sitting behind a table waiting for people to approach you.
- And importantly: you’re looking for occasional extra work rather than guaranteed weekly hours.
Why Vice Tea?
Because this isn’t just a job — it’s a way of life.
You’ll grow your skills, build confidence, meet amazing people, and be part of a brand that’s all about energy, creativity, and connection.
