Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all aspects of food preparation, service, and kitchen operations to ensure quality standards are consistently met.
- Oversee staff training, development, and performance management to cultivate a high-performing team dedicated to exceptional customer service.
- Manage daily shift operations, including scheduling, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Coordinate with culinary teams to ensure efficient food production, proper food handling, and adherence to sanitation standards.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling, order processing, and sales reconciliation.
- Monitor inventory levels regularly to minimize waste, control costs, and maintain optimal stock levels for all food and beverage items.
- Implement restaurant or hotel management practices that enhance guest satisfaction, streamline workflows, and promote a positive dining or hospitality experience.
Skills
- Extensive experience in food service management within quick service & fast food restaurants or fine dining environments.
- Proven supervisory experience with strong leadership skills in hospitality or restaurant settings.
- Proficiency in POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; adept at cash handling and transaction accuracy.
- Deep knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary processes, and food safety standards.
- Skilled in staff training & development, interviewing candidates, and managing team performance.
- Strong background in kitchen management, food production, catering, banquet services, and bar operations.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Experience managing budgets, controlling costs, and implementing inventory control measures.
- Ability to lead shift management seamlessly while maintaining high standards of hospitality excellence.
- Familiarity with hotel or casual dining environments; experience in beverage programs including coffee & bar services is a plus.
