Duties
- Assist bartenders by restocking alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and glassware throughout the shift
- Maintain cleanliness of bar area, including cleaning glasses and wiping down surfaces
- Support food preparation and service when needed, including bussing tables and assisting with catering events
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems
- Ensure the bar area complies with health and safety standards related to food handling and sanitation
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest needs and inquiries
- Support event setups for banquets or special functions, ensuring all supplies are available and organized
- Assist with general bussing duties during busy nightclub or restaurant hours
Skills
- Experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong cleaning skills to maintain a hygienic bar environment
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests
- Previous experience with banquet service, catering, or hotel food industry is a plus
- Ability to work night shifts in a event or hospitality setting
- Food handling certification or experience in food preparation is beneficial
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly attitude
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
