What You’ll Do
- Clean and maintain resident rooms, suites, and common areas within the Memory Care Center
- Perform routine and detailed cleaning tasks according to department and safety standards
- Create and maintain a clean, calm, and organized environment that supports resident comfort and safety
- Safely prepare, use, and store cleaning products and equipment
- Maintain organized work areas and ensure proper storage of supplies and equipment
- Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or equipment issues promptly
- Handle linens, trash removal, and room preparation with care, consistency, and attention to detail
- Follow all infection prevention and sanitation practices specific to memory care environments
- Respect resident privacy, dignity, routines, and personal belongings at all times
- Support a structured, predictable environment that promotes resident well-being
- Assist the team with additional duties, deep cleaning projects, and community support tasks as needed
Must Have Skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Dependable attendance and strong time management skills
- Ability to safely follow cleaning procedures and infection control guidelines

Nice to Have Skills
- Previous housekeeping, healthcare, senior living, or hospitality experience
- Experience working in memory care or dementia-support environments
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies
- Knowledge of safe chemical handling and sanitation procedures
- Experience supporting vulnerable populations with dignity and respect
- Understanding of infection prevention best practices in healthcare settings
Education
High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
