VCA Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center is seeking an experienced Emergency Veterinarian to work at our 24-hour emergency/multi-specialty practice in Norwalk, Connecticut. We feature a state-of-the-art facility, a talented team of specialists, and a strong management team dedicated to delivering the highest quality patient care and exceptional client service. VCA VREC is located in Norwalk, CT. We are a short drive into New York City, New Haven, and Yale University, and approximately 3 hours from Boston. The rotating schedule will give you plenty of time each week to explore the beaches, hiking, biking, music, art and all the seasons of Southern New England. Under the guidance of the hospital Medical Director and with the support of the Regional Medical Director, the Emergency Associate Veterinarian will see and treat a variety of emergency cases in addition to providing daytime, swing, or overnight medical oversight to ICU, post-operative and critical care patients. Our highly trained Technical staff provides excellent support for our large and diverse emergency caseload.
