Overview
To clean and set tables. Assist Food Server in providing quality service to guests. To maintain restaurant storeroom and side stations according to established cleanliness and stock standards. To expedite and run food to the guest in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner while maintaining fine dining service standards. Responsibilities
- Attend pre-shift meetings.
- Maintain uniform appearance according to established guidelines.
- Set-up stations and side areas and ensure that sufficient supplies are on-hand
- Welcome guests, remove extra set-ups and serve water to guests.
- Serve additional beverages to guests as requested.
- Refill beverages as needed.
- Assist in pre-bussing tables throughout the course of the meal.
- Clean and reset tables at the end of the meal.
- Sort dirty china, silverware and glassware into appropriate bus tubs on the bus cart.
- Polish silverware.
- Stock condiments.
- Make coffee, tea, etc.
- Wipe and clean beverage dispensers and counters in the side stations.
- Assist Food Serve as needed.
- Complete assigned side work
- Assist with maintaining a neat, clean and safe working environment.
- Pick up supplies and stock storeroom.
- Inform manager of needed supplies.
- Maintain prescribed par stock levels in side stations.
- Fill ice bins in side stations.
- Transport dirty china, glassware and silverware to the dish room and replenish the side stations with clean china, glassware and silverware.
- Empty trash for the side stations.
- Complete special projects as requested by Food and Beverage management.

- Minimum one year high volume Fine Dining Restaurant, preferably in a Hotel/Casino environment.
- Must have knowledge of silent service and bussing responsibilities
- Must possess good memory and the ability to recall recipes.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and knife skills.
- Good people skills and a well-groomed appearance.
- Must speak, read, write and understand English.
- Must be able to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
- Minimum age requirement is 18.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications required; Spa Soft experience preferred.
