Role Overview
The Senior Planner/Scheduler, Materials Planning is responsible for managing production planning, material requirements planning, and inventory control to support manufacturing operations. This role develops capacity-aligned production plans and ensures material availability to meet customer demand while optimizing inventory levels. The position plays a critical role in aligning supply chain activities with business objectives through cross-functional collaboration and data-driven decision-making.

The position plays a critical role in aligning supply chain activities with business objectives through cross-functional collaboration and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain production and material plans aligned with demand forecasts, inventory strategies, and capacity constraints.
- Manage MRP processes and raw material planning to ensure supply availability and support production schedules.
- Analyze inventory performance, including slow-moving and excess inventory, and drive optimization initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve supply constraints and ensure alignment across planning, production, and demand management.
- Support S&OP processes by providing data, insights, and recommendations to improve supply chain performance.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain planning, materials planning, or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, inventory management, and forecasting processes.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional, matrixed environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Accounting, or related field.
- Familiarity with MRPII, APICS frameworks, or advanced supply chain methodologies.
- Advanced analytical skills with experience in demand and supply planning optimization.
- Experience working in manufacturing or industrial supply chain environments.
