About Vibrant Minds Applied Behavioral Pediatrics

Vibrant Minds Applied Behavioral Pediatrics is a newly launched, multidisciplinary pediatric behavioral health clinic designed to address the critical shortage of integrated services for children in Southern Oregon. The clinic delivers coordinated care across psychology, applied behavior analysis (ABA), speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, and physical therapy, allowing families to access comprehensive evaluations and treatment through a single, collaborative care team. This integrated model improves clinical outcomes, operational efficiency, and continuity of care while significantly reducing the burden on families navigating complex systems.

Position Summary

The Pediatric Psychologist provides comprehensive psychological and neurodevelopmental evaluation and treatment services for children and adolescents with developmental, behavioral, emotional, and learning concerns. This role is central to diagnostic clarification, treatment planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration within Vibrant Minds’ integrated care model. The psychologist works collaboratively with psychometrists, behavior analysts, therapists, and medical providers to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care. Depending on licensure and experience, this position may be structured as on-site, hybrid, or partially remote, with remote work primarily focused on report writing, telehealth visits, supervision, and consultation.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Assessment & Diagnosis

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and neurodevelopmental evaluations, including assessments for:

o Autism Spectrum Disorder

o ADHD

o Learning disabilities

o Intellectual and developmental disabilities

o Emotional and behavioral disorders

  • Select, interpret, and integrate standardized assessment measures and collateral

information

  • Provide diagnostic impressions and clear, clinically sound recommendations

Treatment & Clinical Services

  • Provide evidence-based psychotherapy, parent coaching, and consultation as

appropriate

  • Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning within the integrated care model
  • Collaborate with ABA, SLP, OT, PT, and medical providers to support whole-child care

Supervision & Leadership

  • Supervise psychometrists, trainees, or other clinical staff as assigned
  • Provide clinical oversight and consultation to interdisciplinary team members
  • Participate in case conferences, peer consultation, and quality assurance activities

Documentation & Reporting

  • Produce timely, high-quality evaluation reports that meet clinical, payer, and regulatory standards
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and applicable

regulations

  • Support report review and clinical documentation workflows that may be completed

remotely Collaboration & Program Development

  • Contribute to development of clinical protocols and best practices
  • Participate in team meetings, clinical planning, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Engage in training or mentorship activities through the affiliated training institute, as

appropriate Compliance & Professional Standards

  • Adhere to APA ethical guidelines, state licensure requirements, and payer regulations
  • Maintain confidentiality and safeguard protected health information
  • Stay current with continuing education and evidence-based practices

Qualifications Required

  • Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Psychology from an accredited program
  • Licensed or license-eligible psychologist in Oregon (or ability to obtain licensure)
  • Experience conducting pediatric psychological and neurodevelopmental assessments
  • Strong clinical judgment, documentation skills, and collaborative mindset

Preferred

  • Experience with autism evaluations and related diagnostic tools
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary or integrated care settings
  • Interest in teaching, supervision, or training roles
  • Experience providing telehealth services
  • Bilingual providers encouraged to apply

Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation: Rate TBD, commensurate with experience, licensure, and role scope
  • Flexible scheduling options may be available

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diem

Pay: $55.00 - $85.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
