Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
• One (1) year of recent operating room experience• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.• Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.
Certificates, Licensures, Registrations
• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required. Current ACLS and BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required, AHA preferred and required by some clients.• Other certifications may be required by the client. Ex: CNOR (Certified Perioperative Nurse)
Other Skills Required
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills• Ability to work in high-stress environments and respond quickly in emergencies• Proficient in sterile technique and OR protocols• Ability to serve as scrub or circulating nurse during procedures• Anticipate needs of the surgeon and surgical team• Ability to transfer patients to recovery and provide hand off communication• Strong documentation skills using EMR
