What You’ll Do:
- Deliver hands-on physical therapy services to patients with diverse rehabilitative and functional needs.
- Collaborate with occupational therapists, physicians, and the care team to develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
- Assist in providing therapeutic interventions, including exercises, adaptive equipment training, and activities to improve daily living skills.
- Monitor patient progress, make adjustments to interventions as needed, and maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions.
- Educate patients and families on adaptive strategies, home modifications, and techniques to enhance independence and safety.
- Ensure care is delivered in accordance with facility policies, therapy guidelines, and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in Louisiana
- 1 year of experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting preferred
- BLS required
- Strong clinical judgment and a commitment to excellence in patient care
