Surgical Services - CVOR Certified Surgical First Assist

VIBRA TRAVELS is seeking a Travel Certified Surgical First Assist to join our expanding network of healthcare professionals. We’re looking for dependable, detail-focused travelers with experience providing first assist support during surgical procedures in an operating room setting. Minimum Qualifications:

• Current, valid, and active certification to practice as a Certified Surgical First Assist required
• Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience as a Surgical First Assist in an operating room setting required
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical First Assist or Surgical Technology program required
• Certification through an approved credentialing body (NBSTSA, NCCSA, or equivalent) required
• Current, valid, and active driver’s license required
• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation

Certificates, Licensures, Registrations:

• Current, valid, and active Certified Surgical First Assist credential required
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required, AHA preferred and required by some clients

Additional Qualifications/Skills:

• Experience providing intraoperative first assist support including tissue handling, exposure, and hemostasis
• Ability to assist with suturing, wound closure, and instrument handling as permitted by scope of practice
• Knowledge of surgical anatomy, procedures, and sterile technique
• Familiarity with operating room protocols and patient safety standards
• Strong attention to accuracy and detail in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and OR teams
• Free from illegal drug use and effects of alcohol in the workplace
