Key Responsibilities:
Lead large technical programs focused on application delivery, scalability, and engineering, ensuring all milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
Oversee the end-to-end delivery of projects, including planning, execution, and tracking of program progress, while mitigating risks and solving issues as they arise.
Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and operations teams, to ensure smooth collaboration and alignment on project goals.
Manage hybrid delivery models, overseeing the combination of in-house teams and third-party vendors to ensure cohesive execution and timely delivery.
Provide strategic direction, leadership, and mentoring to teams while ensuring that program objectives align with overall business goals.
Track and report on program progress, performance, and milestones to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and clarity in communication.
Ensure that programs adhere to best practices for scalability, engineering standards, and continuous improvement.
Define and implement processes to ensure quality, timely delivery, and effective execution of program objectives.
Contribute to the evolution of program management methodologies, incorporating lessons learned and continuous feedback for process improvements.
Experience And Qualifications
12-15 years of experience in technical program management, with a strong track record of managing large and complex programs in an engineering or application delivery environment.
Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing hybrid delivery models with both onshore and offshore resources.
Deep expertise in scalable applications and engineering solutions with a strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Strong experience in managing large-scale programs in the systems integrator (SI) space, particularly those involving engineering delivery.
Solid understanding of cloud platforms, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines in the context of large-scale program delivery.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field; advanced degree is a plus.
PMP or Agile certifications are highly desirable.
