Role Description
This is a full-time position for a Northeast Regional Sales Manager. The primary responsibilities include managing sales activities within the Northeast region, building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients, and meeting or exceeding revenue targets. The role includes overseeing regional sales strategies, collaborating with distributors, conducting product presentations, and ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service. Increase direct sales and visibility with end-users and ownership. Additionally this position will manage seven independent rep agencies spanning the northeast region of the United States. The individual will also monitor market trends and identify growth opportunities aligned with Vibia's goals.
Qualifications
- Strong sales, negotiation, and client relationship management skills
- Ability to develop and execute regional sales strategies and meet revenue goals
- Experience in analyzing market trends and identifying growth opportunities
- Knowledge of the lighting or design industry and understanding of relevant technologies
- Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to collaborate with distributors and internal teams
- High level of responsibility, organization, and self-motivation
- Willingness to travel within the Northeast region as required
- Living in the New York Metro Area is required
- Proficiency in MS office and CRM software (Microsoft Dynamics)
- Highly motivated and self starter
- Ability to work with online design tools
