Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Bouncer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for patrons and staff at our venue. This role requires strong conflict management skills and the ability to assess situations quickly to ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises.
Duties
- Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized individuals gain access to the venue.
- Conduct regular surveillance of the premises using CCTV systems to identify potential security threats.
- Manage crowd control during busy periods, ensuring that patrons adhere to venue policies and regulations.
- Respond promptly to incidents or disturbances, utilizing conflict management techniques to de-escalate situations.
- Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed, ensuring the health and safety of patrons.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary, maintaining a professional relationship with local authorities.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior and taking appropriate action.
- Maintain a visible presence on the floor to deter potential issues and promote a safe environment for all guests.
Requirements
- Previous experience in law enforcement or security is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques is advantageous.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in loss prevention or security training are a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required by venue operations.
- Must possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
- A militarized background is beneficial but not essential; candidates with relevant experience in high-pressure environments are encouraged to apply.
