Responsibilities
- Conduct group and individual Pilates classes, ensuring a safe and effective workout for all participants.
- Educate clients on proper techniques and form to maximize benefits and minimize injury risk.
- Develop class plans that cater to various skill levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners.
- Monitor client progress and provide feedback to help them achieve their fitness goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized studio environment, ensuring all equipment is in good condition.
- Collaborate with other fitness professionals, including personal trainers and group fitness instructors, to enhance the overall client experience.
- Promote the benefits of Pilates through workshops or special events within the health club community.
Requirements
- Certification as a Pilates Instructor from a recognized organization is required.
- Previous experience teaching Pilates in a gym or health club setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of related fitness disciplines such as yoga, CrossFit, or kickboxing is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate and motivate clients effectively.
- A passion for fitness and wellness, with an understanding of anatomy and body mechanics.
- Ability to create an inclusive environment that welcomes individuals of all backgrounds and fitness levels.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including some evenings or rotating weekends as needed.
