Responsibilities:
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
- Follow standard work with attention to detail and quality
- Adhere to safe work practices
- Tackle every task with a continuous improvement mindset
- Perform necessary pre-operation duties to ensure proper equipment startup
- Operate and monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to mitigate unplanned stops and ensure quality throughput
- Ability to communicate with team to drive continuous production of the correct products with minimal wasted time and materials
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work station
Skills/Proficiencies:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- At least 5 years as a machine operator
- Attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of production procedures
- Abilities to read detailed part drawings
Recommendations:
- Experience with general G/M Code
- Knowledge of Okuma (OSP controls) and Hardinge (Fanuc Controls)
