About the Role
We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Sales Manager to join our team at our hotel in the heart of Denver’s vibrant RiNo district. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the hotel’s market presence, build lasting partnerships, and drive revenue growth in a dynamic, creative neighborhood.
Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Sales Manager plays a key role in executing the hotel’s sales and marketing strategy while consistently meeting or exceeding budgeted revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business and grow existing accounts to meet or exceed monthly and annual revenue goals
- Focus on assigned market segments such as local corporate transient, social & corporate groups, and other targeted opportunities
- Establish and maintain strong relationships through regular communication, outside sales calls, and networking
- Identify, analyze, and track local and regional competitors to support strategic sales initiatives
- Develop and execute targeted sales programs and campaigns across multiple market segments
- Conduct face-to-face sales calls and site tours to promote the property
- Ensure timely and professional servicing of all group and business accounts
- Maintain accurate sales records, reports, account histories, and forecasts
- Manage and update sales systems
- Support sales training initiatives for hotel staff as appropriate
- Collaborate closely with hotel leadership and operational teams to ensure seamless execution and guest satisfaction
- Contribute as a hands-on team member in a collaborative environment, occasionally supporting hotel operations as needed during high-demand periods
- Maintain a strong presence within the local community and hospitality industry
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience; hospitality sales experience strongly preferred
- Proven ability to work independently while staying motivated and results-driven
- Strong leadership, organization, and time-management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Innovative mindset with the ability to identify new sales opportunities
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times
- Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle
- Familiarity with the Denver market and local business community preferred
