Overview
ViaPath is currently seeking Production Technicians to join our Production team in Grand Prairie, TX. The Production Technician will be responsible for building, testing, configuring and repairing various technology equipment to fulfill orders and RMAs for the company’s many products and services.
Position will be based at the ViaPath office located in Grand Prairie, TX.
Shift is Monday - Friday, 7:00AM - 3:30PM

Responsibilities
- Production on ViaPath products including assembly, setup, configuration and testing of computers, android tablets, network and telephony equipment.
- Materials coordination to include handling and packing of products.
- Product Repair to perform all required duties of the product repair area such as: repair, re-qualification, and refurbishment of computers and peripherals, telephony equipment, network equipment and other product hardware.
- Assist with materials management, software and firmware management, process review and general area maintenance.
- Interact with the Engineering, Technical Support and Product Support teams for process and situational clarification and refinements.
- Assist in documenting, refining and enforcing technical standards and processes.
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of related experience required (technical certifications may be considered as part of related experience).
- Proficient in Windows OS, MS Office Suite.
- Driven to provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task on work assignments.
- Able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent research and documentation skills.
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and be able to work with team members to move equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Technical Certifications a plus but not required.
- Android and Linux experience preferred.
