ViaPath is seeking Accounts Payable Clerks to join our Accounting Team in Mobile, AL.
This is a hybrid position based at the ViaPath office located in Mobile, AL.
Responsibilities
- Review all invoices received and gather appropriate documentation/approvals prior to payment.
- Code invoices with necessary details for entry into the ERP system and log information accordingly.
- Handle a high volume of data entry and uploading of invoices.
- Respond to all vendor inquiries.
- Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 1 year of accounts payable experience to include a basic understanding of the accounts payable process and purchase order process.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite of products to include Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting competing deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized.
