Position Scope/summary

This position ensures that assigned machines/equipment produce product at or above department standards. Responsible to produce, assemble, inspect and pack all parts as per the work instructions for each assigned task or machine. Maintain all required paperwork and documentation to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and ISO 13485:2016 standards.
The equipment technician will be expected to maintain all production equipment and processes by assuring all facilities and plant equipment are functioning, clean, orderly, project an attractive image, and are in compliance with relevant regulatory agencies. The ideal candidate will perform minor and routine building and equipment maintenance tasks and arrange for the repair and upkeep of required equipment. The main goal and priority of the position is to maintain all production equipment in top working condition to support efficient, consistent, and safe production output.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Proactive maintenance and repair of all production equipment. Assist in assuring Preventative Maintenance plans in place are accurate and adequate and assist in ensuring they are executed accordingly.
2. Proactively seek out opportunities for improvement to equipment.
3. Including but not limited to: removing fallen yard debris, trimming and pruning shrubs and trees, picking up garbage in yard, removing snow in parking lot and around office and other public areas this location. Maintain exterior grounds
4. Efficient and independent in all aspects of maintenance and repair of the facilities including Plumbing, HVAC, electrical etc…
5. Efficient and independent in carpentry repair, construction, and installation of building equipment, fixtures, and other capital improvement projects, hook-ups and placements as requested. Assist in performing machine moves
6. Follows all safety requirements.
7. including; computerized building control and monitoring systems, power and lighting systems, compressed gasses and vacuum, air supply and ventilation, DI water systems, sanitary facilities and plumbing Maintain major facility systems and infrastructure
8. and undertake or arrange for the repairs by contacting appropriate technicians and oversee repairs Monitor office equipment
9. Making needed adjustments to maintain the comfort of employees Monitor the temperature throughout the facility
10. Maintain the parking lots, stairwells and walkways and assists with grounds cleanup maintenance duties
11. Other Duties as assigned by management
REQUIREMENTS
3-5 years Experience with hydraulics, Plumbing, electrical and maintenance repair.
EDUCATION GUIDELINES
High School Diploma or equivalency required. Associates Degree in relevant field and/or certification/license in electrical, HVAC, Plumbing and/or industrial training/experience which includes a thorough understanding of mechanical, electrical and control systems is preferred.
