Job description:
We are seeking a Cashier to become part of our team! You will be responsible for assisting our customers in ViaCash Store using related equipment to conduct monetary transactions.
Responsibilities
- Open and close the store daily
- Follow all safety guidelines
- Assist store customers
- Resolve customers' issues
- Enter daily sales report in Excel
- Deposit funds into ViaSafe
- Prepare reports at shift end
- Balance cash drawer
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
- Bilingual skills required: English and Spanish
- Excellent customer service
- Excellent communication skills
- Friendly and positive attitude
- Ability to operate available equipment, such as computers, calculators, scanners, copy machines
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Basic math skills
- Attention to detail
- Check cashing experience preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent desired
- 1 year of retail experience
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Readily adjusts schedule, tasks, and priorities when necessary to meet business needs
