SUMMARY:
Viaflex is seeking a data-driven Market Analyst to lead research, forecasting, and strategic insights for the North American Geomembrane market. This role will track market activity, identify growth opportunities, evaluate partnerships, and deliver actionable intelligence to support commercial and executive decision-making.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Market Insights & Forecasting
Prior exposure to geomembrane products or the broader geosynthetics market. Familiarity with strategic partnership frameworks or business development support. Understanding of infrastructure and environmental policy trends in North America. Business acumen to work with all levels of leadership. Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office. Ability to be flexible and multitask. Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff. Limited travel as needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Market Insights & Forecasting
- Analyze market trends, demand cycles, and pricing patterns for Geomembranes in North America.
- Build and maintain forecasting models by product type, application, and region.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of active and upcoming Geomembrane projects.
- Monitor bidding activity, project timelines, and completions to guide sales and resource planning.
- Identify and evaluate potential partners such as contractors, engineering firms, and technology providers.
- Provide data and insights to support partnership strategies and market expansion.
- Monitor competitor activity including market share shifts, capacity changes, product innovations, and pricing strategies.
- Track regulatory updates, environmental mandates, and infrastructure funding programs influencing geomembrane demand.
- Deliver clear dashboards and reports on market conditions, opportunities, and risks.
- Present findings to commercial and leadership teams to inform strategy.
- Partner with sales, marketing, and product teams to align market intelligence with business priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in market analysis, business intelligence, or strategic research—preferably in industrial materials, geosynthetics, or construction.
- Strong forecasting and modeling skills with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Experience with project/job tracking tools (e.g., Dodge, ConstructConnect, or proprietary CRMs).
- Demonstrated ability to support strategic initiatives with data-driven insights.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
