Job Overview

As a Market Research Analyst at Viable Engineering’s Orlando Innovation Center, you will play a crucial role in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting market data to inform the development of innovative business models. You will work in a fast-paced experimental environment which embraces creativity and collaboration with cross-functional teams from different business areas and regions to provide insights that drive decision-making and enhance our competitive edge in the energy sector.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes within the energy sector.
• Utilize various research methods, including surveys, interviews, and secondary data analysis to gather relevant information.
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to derive actionable insights that inform business model development.
• Create reports and presentations that summarize research findings and highlight key trends and opportunities.
• Monitor and analyze competitor activities, market positioning, and emerging technologies to identify potential threads and opportunities.
• Provide recommendations based on competitive insights to support strategic decision making.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between market insights and business model strategies.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and workshops to contribute to the development of innovative business models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
• 3-6 years’ experience in market research, data analysis, or related field, preferably in the energy or technology sectors.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Passion for sustainability and a basic understanding of the energy transition landscape.
