Position: Bi-Lingual Employment & Training Specialist 2 Full Time
Location: Holyoke, MA Pay: \$24.76 Per hour; plus \$40 bi-weekly stipend
for second language Hours: 40 Hours per week Schedule: Monday-Friday
8:30am-4:30pm with flexibility for occasional nights and weekends
Summary: The Employment Specialist works directly with individuals with
disabilities to support them in obtaining and maintaining competitive,
integrated employment. This position carries an active caseload and
provides individualized, person-centered employment services, including
career exploration, job development, placement, and ongoing follow-along
support. The Employment Specialist collaborates with participants,
employers, and service providers to identify strengths, address barriers
to employment, and promote long-term job success. Responsibilities also
include employer outreach, job coaching, advocacy for workplace
accommodations, and maintaining accurate documentation to track progress
And Outcomes In Compliance With Program Requirements Qualifications
Qualified candidates will have at minimum a Bachelor\'s degree with one
year of experience providing employment services to individuals with
developmental disabilities or other employment barriers; or an
Associate\'s degree with two years of related experience; or a High
School diploma, GED, or HiSET with three years of relevant experience
Ability to use computers to include Microsoft Word, data entry, email,
and internet essential. Must have a valid driver\'s license, good
driving record, use of vehicle and willingness to transport participants
in personal vehicle. Must be able to travel within the region to access
residential settings, employers, offices, and community organizations.
Fluency in Spanish required. \"Viability values our employees and the
