Via Satellite Inc. is hiring Smart Home & Satellite Installation Technicians to install and service satellite internet, Starlink systems, smart home technology, security devices, and mobile devices.
No previous installation experience? No problem! We provide paid training to help you develop the skills you need to succeed.

What You'll Do
As a technician, you'll help customers get connected, enjoy their technology, and make the most of the products and services available to them.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Starlink Installation: Install and service Starlink internet systems, including dish mounting, cable routing, and router setup.
- Satellite Installation: Install, maintain, and troubleshoot DISH satellite equipment.
- Smart Home Technology: Install and configure smart home and security devices, including Ring, Google, SimpliSafe, and other compatible products.
- Mobile Device Setup: Deliver and activate mobile devices through our Boost Mobile partnership.
- Customer Support: Assist customers with phone setup, data transfers, number porting, and device activation.
- Customer Education: Demonstrate how to use newly installed equipment and help customers feel comfortable with their technology.
- Additional Sales Opportunities: Identify customer needs and recommend relevant products and services to enhance their experience while earning additional income through available sales incentives.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for dependable, motivated individuals who enjoy learning new skills and working directly with customers.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Comfortable using hand tools and learning technical installation procedures.
- Willing and able to climb ladders up to 40 feet and work at heights.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of working independently.
- Willingness to learn new technology and troubleshoot problems.
- Previous installation, technical, sales, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
We provide paid training, so you don't need to be an experienced technician to apply!
Physical Requirements
This is an active, hands-on position that requires working in a variety of environments.
Technicians must be able to:
- Climb ladders and work safely at heights.
- Work in attics and confined spaces.
- Lift, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Safely use tools and installation equipment.
Pay & Earning Potential
We offer paid training and a compensation structure designed to support technicians as they develop their skills and productivity.
- Paid Training: $18 per hour.
- First 90 Days: $18 per hour minimum under our parachute pay program.
- After 90 Days: $15 per hour minimum under our parachute pay program.
- Typical First-Year Earnings: 18–25 per hour.
- Top Performer Potential: $25 per hour through production pay and incentives.
- Additional Earning Opportunities: Earn extra income through available on-site sales incentives.
Actual earnings depend on the applicable compensation program, production, and incentive eligibility.
