We're currently seeking a dedicated Health and Wellness Director to lead our resident care and wellness programs at our Tucson Mountains community. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate healthcare professional who wants to make a meaningful impact while growing their career in a supportive environment.
What You'll Do
- Lead resident care and wellness initiatives, ensuring high-quality individualized care.
- Oversee care planning, medication management, and ongoing health assessments.
- Supervise and support caregivers and med-techs, holding the team accountable to excellence.
- Holding on call support for caregiver scheduling.
- Partner with families, physicians, and staff to create a collaborative approach to resident well-being.
- Provide staff training, performance feedback, and mentorship to promote growth and confidence.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and company regulations.
- Serve as second-tier on-call support, ensuring continuity of care during after-hours needs.
- Arizona Caregiver Certification or LPN license in good standing, or 4 years of related experience.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- At least 2 years of experience in memory care and medication administration.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and hold others accountable.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
- Valid AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card (or ability to obtain within 20 days of hire).
- Strong knowledge of AZDHS regulations.
- AZ Memory Care Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
- Competitive salary: $70,000 – $85,000 annually
