We are seeking a Clinical Support Specialist to conduct BIMS (Brief Interview for Mental Status) and PHQ-9 (Patient Health Questionnaire) screenings, ensuring residents receive the comprehensive care they deserve.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct BIMS and PHQ-9 screenings with residents in compliance with federal and state guidelines.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to evaluate and support residents’ cognitive and emotional well-being.
- Provide insight and documentation that informs care planning and improves residents’ quality of life.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to confidentiality standards.
- Build trusting relationships with residents and facilities, helping to foster a supportive community.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric setting.
- Familiarity with BIMS, PHQ-9, and resident assessment protocols (MDS).
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
- Empathy, patience, and professionalism in every interaction.
