Responsibilities
- Work on major bridge and other complex transportation projects
- Provide technical support/mentorship to junior structural engineering staff
- Perform oversight of engineering design for bridges and other transportation infrastructure
- Prepare construction documents, including plans, specifications, estimates and calculation.
- Perform quality control reviews of project construction documents, engineering reports, etc.
- Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail
- AutoCAD Civil 3D experience
- Must possess strong project management and technical skills
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Familiarity with bridge design and detailing (steel, concrete, prestressed concrete) and seismic analysis
- Familiarity with Mathcad and Excel for developing calculations packages.
- Familiarity with structural engineering software (AASHTOware, LARSA 4D, MDX, midas Bridge, Mathcad, etc.)
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Bridge/Transportation projects required
- B.S. Civil Engineering (1-2 years may be substituted for a Master’s degree)
- EIT expected, PE license or ability to obtain within 12 months preferred.

Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
