Responsibilities
Our best estimate of the salary range for this position located in Vermont is $80,000-$98,000. This offer is determined based on a number of job-related factors including internal comparators, skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities and geographic location. Responsibilities
- Work within a team of professionals to develop site civil engineering plans and specifications for a multitude of land development projects.
- Train and mentor junior staff on technical aspects and policies
- Assist Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers with managing and delegating tasks, forecasting and proactively addressing workload and staffing needs, while collaborating with clients and teammates across the organization
- Willingness to learn implementation of integrated services projects in a team with multidisciplinary skills.
- Knowledge of land development construction including codes and development regulations
- Innovative design skills to develop solutions to complex projects.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- BS in Civil Engineering or related degree
- 3-5 years of increasing engineering experience
- EIT licensure preferred or have passed the FE Exam
- Proficient in the following: AutoCAD Civil 3D,HydroCAD, MS Office
- Proficient in site layout, grading, utility design and stormwater management
- Experience in developing and compiling/producing site plans, construction documents, specifications, and engineering reports
- Experience with GIS Systems is a plus – GIS is one of the tools we use to create better projects.
