Reach me at sandeeps@vgroupinc.com Direct Client: DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND TELECOMMUNICATIONSJob Title: NG911 - IT Systems ArchitectDuration: 11 Months ContractStart Date: Jan/05Location: 2 MetroTech Center, Brooklyn, NYPosition Type: Contract Interview Type:  In-personScheduled Work Hours: Normal business hours Monday-Friday 35 hours/week (not including mandatory unpaid meal break after 6 hours of work).Requirement ID: NYC_OT735_SS  Job DescriptionJustification:This request is for an NG911 Subject Matter Expert (SME) needed to continue the project work for the Class 1/2/3 and Call Handling upgrades of the Next Generation 9-1-1 emergency call system and provide expertise and technical knowledge during the configuration and test phases. NG911 - Cyber Security Tools Implementation Engineer Implement solutions for DNS, Email, remote access configuration, integration, performance monitoring, and security management.  Test Next Generation firewall platforms, host operating systems, and applications such as LDAP, SMTP.  Support for application development and database administration. Provide support for Email, DNS, AND Remote access solutions.  Deploy appropriate network security solutions. Note:Normal Business Hours, Monday through Friday (not including a mandatory unpaid meal break after 6 hours of work), 35 work hours per week.
