SAP Solution Architect

Location: 100% Remote Job

Salary: $150K - $180K Benefits

Key Responsibilities:

1. SAP Architecture Design:

o Lead the design and architecture of SAP solutions, ensuring they align with business requirements and technical standards.

o Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of SAP architecture and its applications.

2. Project Leadership:

o Oversee the end-to-end delivery of SAP projects, including planning, execution, and post-go-live support.

o Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

3. System Integration:

o Design and implement integration solutions between SAP and non-SAP systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process integration.

o Collaborate with technical teams to ensure integration solutions meet business needs.

4. Solution Design:

o Work with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into scalable and effective SAP solutions.

o Ensure solutions are aligned with business objectives and technical standards.

5. Module Expertise:

o Provide expert knowledge and guidance on all SAP modules, including but not limited to FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, WM, and ǪM.

o Stay updated on the latest developments and best practices in SAP modules.

6. Technical Oversight:

o Ensure the technical integrity and consistency of SAP implementations, including adherence to best practices and industry standards.

o Conduct technical reviews and audits to maintain high-quality solutions.

7. Innovation and Improvement:

o Stay current with SAP technologies and trends, recommending improvements and innovations to enhance system performance and

business outcomes.

o Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes.

8. Documentation and Training:

o Develop comprehensive documentation for SAP solutions and provide training and knowledge transfer to other team members.

o Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.

9. Stakeholder Management:

o Engage with business and IT stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.

o Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project status effectively.

10. Risk Management:

o Identify and mitigate risks associated with SAP projects, ensuring timely resolution of issues.

o Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimise project risks.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 16-20 years of hands-on experience in SAP implementation, architecture, and consulting.

• Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of SAP modules, including FI/CO, WM, MM, SD, PP, ǪM, and others. Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and integration technologies.

• Module Expertise: Particular emphasis on Warehouse Management, Production Planning, and Order to Cash modules.

• Experience in at least 3 end-to-end implementation projects.

• Leadership: Proven experience in leading and mentoring technical teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex business requirements and design effective solutions.

• Education: Bachelor//'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees and relevant certifications (such as SAP certifications) are a plus.

• Soft Skills: Strong client-facing skills, with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP cloud solutions, including SAP Cloud Platform, SAP SuccessFactors, and SAP Ariba.

• Experience in agile methodologies and DevOps practices in the context of SAP projects.

• Good to have food and beverage implementation experience.
