What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Utility Associate position at VGM Group, Inc?
Job Purpose Summary:
The purpose of this job is to maintain various tasks to ensure warehouse production can continue. Working with others within the facility to uphold a high standard of cleanliness and safety is a priority. This will require a team-player mentality, and you will also be committed to maintaining a safe and positive work environment.
Reporting to: Shift Supervisor, Warehouse Manager
Working Hours:
1st shift: Monday-Thursday, 5:00am-3:30pm
2nd shift: Monday-Friday, 3pm-11:30pm
Weekend shift: Friday - Sunday, 6:00am-6:30pm
Working Location: On-site - Shiremanstown, PA Warehouse
Key Responsibilities:
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized
- Responsible for efficiently picking small parcel orders
- Loading the outbound trailer
- Pick up cardboard and fill compactor
- Filling bins with product for the picking floor
- Create boxes and load onto carts
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment to prevent accidents and injuries
- Maintain compliance, safety, and quality standards by ensuring strict adherence to company policies and procedures
- Capable of working overtime if needed including extra hours during the week and some Saturday mornings
- Be available to come in early and stay late as needed to provide adequate support to the business
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working with others of varying backgrounds
- Be willing and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment to support business objectives
- Work cooperatively in a team environment to achieve business goals and growth opportunities
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee maybe required to assist with other departmental functions upon request

Key Qualifications:
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Able to function independently and as part of a team
- High school education
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the facility for a majority of the day
- Ability to push, pull, lift and carry up to 15lbs
- Standing and walking throughout the facility for extended periods of time
- Making and stacking light weight boxes
- Visual abilities to include reading, distance vision and peripheral vision
