We are expanding our Private Client Services practice and seeking a Senior Manager – High Net Worth Tax & Advisory to lead complex engagements for affluent individuals, business owners, executives, and family offices.
- Lead tax planning and compliance for HNW individuals, business owners, executives, and family offices.
- Develop advanced tax strategies involving multi‑entity structures, real estate, investments, equity compensation, and pass‑through entities.
- Advise on trust taxation, estate planning coordination, gifting strategies, and generational wealth transfer.
- Provide proactive tax projections, scenario modeling, and strategic recommendations.
- Serve as the primary advisor for a portfolio of HNW clients.
- Deliver white‑glove communication, timely updates, and strategic guidance.
- Build long‑term relationships based on trust, discretion, and technical excellence.
- Coordinate with attorneys, wealth managers, and financial advisors as needed.
- Review complex individual, partnership, S‑corporation, C‑corporation, and fiduciary tax returns.
- Oversee multi‑state filings, investment reporting, K‑1s, and consolidated structures.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
- Maintain high technical accuracy and adherence to firm quality standards.
- Mentor and guide staff and senior associates.
- Provide technical training on HNW tax topics.
- Support workflow planning, review cycles, and deadline management.
- Contribute to firm growth through process improvement and client expansion.
- Active CPA license
- 7 years of progressive tax experience
- Strong experience with high‑net‑worth individuals, business owners, executives, or family offices
- Expertise in complex individual taxation, multi‑entity structures, and investment reporting
- Strong review skills and ability to manage multiple engagements
- Exceptional communication and client‑facing skills
- Ability to work independently and deliver strategic guidance
- Experience with Private Client Services (PCS) at a Big 4 or national firm
- Knowledge of trust taxation, estate planning, and wealth transfer strategies
- Experience advising medical practices, government contractors, or multi‑entity businesses
- Experience managing staff or leading tax teams
- Strong understanding of tax planning for equity compensation, RSUs, stock options, and carried interest
