Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling responsibilities.
• Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies; restock as needed to ensure smooth service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly.
• Uphold responsible serving practices by checking IDs, recognizing intoxication signs, and promoting safe consumption.
• Manage time effectively during busy shifts to serve multiple tables or bar patrons promptly without compromising quality.
• Assist in training new team members on POS systems, customer service protocols, and safety procedures.

Experience

• Previous experience working as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is essential for efficient order processing.
• Demonstrated ability in food safety practices, food handling, and responsible alcohol serving is required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage diverse guests positively.
• Experience in retail math, cash handling, cashiering, and basic math ensures accurate transactions.
• Knowledge of brewing techniques or beverage crafting adds value to your skill set.
• Prior roles involving catering or food industry experience will support your success in this position.
